There couldn’t be a more simple recipe, although the flavors of this one may fool your taste buds into believing it’s more complex. I’m going back to basics, once again, and letting whole, organic foods do all the talking, and the language they’re speaking is warm, cozy, and nurtured sustenance.

In today’s age of technology and all things electric countertop appliances, I think there’s something really old-fashioned and earthy about going back to my friend the “clay pot”. It just FEELS good and is the vessel in which you can throw ingredients together, let the steam do its magic, and create a healthy version of "comfort food". I've known since starting my blogging journey just how much I love sharing all things home renovation and design with all of you. What I didn't know was how much I would enjoy putting recipes together, videoing and photographing them, creating the printed recipes, collecting them on my website, and ultimately putting them out on social media. To have heard from many of you over the years about renovation, and to now hear from those who are enjoying my recipes, makes me feel so lucky to have this community. To say "thank you" to my subscribers here and my followers on IG, I want to share my love for this recipe and the clay pot. I'd love to send each and every one of you a pot, but that's not possible. Instead, I'm going to send two of them to my blogging community, and two to those of you who follow me on IG. If you're a part of both you'll have twice the chance to receive my gift. Here is how it will work. At the end of this post in the comments sections, or by messaging me at the contact tab on my website, leave a comment including the code "share".
